Jelve Javaheri Summoned by Revolutionary Courts

February 11, 2008 Change for Equality:Jelve Javaheri, a member of the One Million Signatures Campaign has been summoned one again to the Revolutionary Courts. Jelve had been summoned to court on December 1, 2007, and arrested on the order of the prosecutor, on charges of "actions against the state." She was released after 32 days in prison, on January 2, 2008. Maryam Hosseinkhah had also been arrested on similar charges on November 18, but was released along with Jelve Javaheri. Jelve Javaheri is a MA student in Sociology and a women’s rights activist.
